The letter was brought by his emissaries, Awang Aliakbar and Panglima Tahir. The contents of the letter, among others, stated that the relationship between Manila and Brunei would not deteriorate.

Bahasa Melayu: Surat Sultan Muhammad Tajuddin ibni Sultan Omar 'Ali Saifuddin I kepada Gabenor Jeneral Sepanyol di Manila. Surat ini dibawa oleh utusan baginda, Awang Aliakbar dan Panglima Tahir. Kandungan surat antara lain menyatakan bahawa hubungan antara Manila dengan Brunei tidak akan putus.
